PhD in statistical physics and physics of fluids by the Universitat de Barcelona and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon. I was postdoctoral researcher at Clark University (MA, USA). I quitted purely academic world to work as a data scientist in a consultancy firm. There I applied machine learning and big data techniques to sales forecasting, and I worked developing R+D projects on innovative tools for the electric sector related to extreme weather events and critical infrastructure security. The more we understand the vast amount of data that surround us, the easier it will be to reduce the prejudice and unscientificism of our society.
