"Dribia has managed the project efficiently and easily to ensure a full migration and renewal. We are very pleased."

FEATURES

Interactive sales forecasting system from 1 to 28 days in advance at sku-pdv level for more than 300 skus in more than 3500 points of sale that allows interactivity and review by experts.

IMPACT

Continuous execution and 24/7 support, data normalization, processing and cleaning.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Detailed forecasts at point of sale and SKU level with a typical error lower than ~35%, 10% at SKU and PDV level aggregated and that takes into account promotional, calendar and cannibalization effects between products.

BUSINESS PROBLEM

Danone must adjust demand well in a very granular way to all its points of sale (>3500) and products (>300) in the short term (from 1 to 28 days), to avoid food loss and waste of a highly perishable product. Ensuring a stable supply chain throughout Spain involves making accurate predictions that take into account promotional effects, cannibalization, calendars and special events.

Furthermore, doing so with a data driven approach requires reliable, stable and robust data processes that ensure a reliable picture of the current stock status at all times.

DRIBIA’S SOLUTION

Dribia collaborates with Danone on the Agatha Project, offering a complete end-to-end solution. We have developed a high-precision prediction system (>90% aggregate accuracy adding all points of sale, or all SKUs, and >65% in detail for each point of sale-SKU pair) to manage perishable products.

In addition, we have implemented an interactive system that allows analysts to interact with the predictions at all times, evaluate their effectiveness and correct them if necessary. Agatha’s solution operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring uninterrupted and efficient supply chain management. With Agatha, Danone manages the depletion and supply of its stores with guarantees and also monitors in a data driven way the impact of its promotions, the effects of cannibalization between products and the efficiency of its entire logistics. The entire project is made with open technologies and runs on Danone’s infrastructure to ensure control and data sovereignty, where Dribia provides 24/7 support for the correct execution and availability of the entire service.
